Frequently Asked Questions
What size phone fits in the SYB Phone Pouch?
The SYB Phone Pouch fits most standard smartphones up to approximately 6.5" screens. Larger phones (iPhone Pro Max, Samsung Ultra, or 6.7"+ screens) may be a tight fit, especially with a bulky case. Measure your phone with its case and compare against the product dimensions. For oversized phones, the SYB Fanny Pack or Sling Bag accommodates any phone size.
How does the SYB Phone Pouch protect me from EMF?
The SYB Phone Pouch has our patented SaferBody shielding fabric on the back panel — the side that sits against your body. This fabric deflects EMF radiation away from you while the unshielded front allows your phone to maintain normal cellular, WiFi, and Bluetooth connections. Your phone works normally; radiation is simply redirected away from your body.
Can I use a phone pouch for my smartwatch or key fob?
SYB Phone Pouches are sized for phones and work best with smartphones. For smartwatch or key fob shielding, you'd need a Faraday pouch that blocks all signals completely — browse our SLNT Faraday collection for options. Note that a Faraday pouch will make a smartwatch or key fob non-functional while enclosed, since it blocks all wireless communication.
What's the difference between the Phone Pouch and the Phone Pouch Deluxe?
Both use the same SaferBody shielding fabric and provide identical EMF protection. The Deluxe features a premium finish and upgraded materials for a more polished look. Choose the standard pouch for practical everyday protection at a lower price, or the Deluxe if you want a more refined accessory.
Is a phone pouch better than an EMF phone case?
They serve different purposes and work well together. An EMF phone case shields one side of your phone during calls and in-hand use. A phone pouch provides stronger shielding coverage specifically for carrying — when your phone is in a pocket, on a belt, or against your body for extended periods. For the most comprehensive protection, use a shielded case on your phone and carry it in an SYB pouch.
