Nine plugged-in devices mean nine cords and a power strip within reach of your desk or bed, and an ordinary plastic strip lets every one of them give off an electric field.

The eShield Surge Protector puts nine outlets in a grounded stainless steel case, painted pure white, with surge protection for the electronics plugged into it. The 6-foot power cable is shielded, with a grounded sheath around the conductors, so it drains its own electric field to ground instead of radiating it along the floor or desk.

The white finish blends in with most walls and decor. Use it with eShield power cords so the shielding runs from the wall to every device.

Nine outlets in one strip

Grounded stainless steel casing

Pure white painted stainless steel casing and cable

Built-in surge protection for connected electronics

6-foot electrically shielded cable

Grounded sheath around the cable's conductors

Durable stainless steel construction

Suited to the bedroom, the office or any room that needs more outlets

Plugs in like any power strip, no installation

Pairs with eShield power cords for shielded cords throughout

Plug the strip into a properly grounded wall outlet. The casing and cable shield drain through the ground pin, so they depend on it. A plug-in outlet tester from any hardware store will confirm the outlet is wired correctly. Place the strip where it reaches your devices, away from where you sit or sleep when you can. Plug in your devices, using eShield power cords where you can so each cord is shielded too. Check the rating printed on the strip before connecting heavy loads. Built for North American outlets (US and Canada): it uses a standard grounded three-prong US plug and is not designed for 230V outlets or other plug types.

Nine devices on one plastic strip means a lot of unshielded wiring nearby. This surge protector puts nine outlets in a grounded stainless steel case, finished in white, with a shielded 6-foot cable.

It includes surge protection for connected electronics and pairs with eShield power cords, so every cord from the wall to the device can be shielded.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does shielding do on a power strip?
The stainless steel casing and the sheath around the cable are grounded, so the electric field from the live conductors drains to ground. A plastic strip has nothing to drain it, and the field spreads into the room.
Does it work in an outlet without a ground?
No. The shielding drains through the ground pin of the plug, so an ungrounded outlet gives it nowhere to send the field. A plug-in outlet tester from any hardware store shows whether an outlet is wired correctly.
Does it shield the cords I plug into it?
No. The strip and its own cable are shielded. A regular cord plugged into it still carries its own field, so pair it with eShield power cords for the devices on it.
How is it different from the Desktop SafeCharge Power Dock?
This strip has nine outlets and surge protection. The dock has four outlets, three USB ports and a desk clamp, and its details do not list surge protection.
Who makes it?
ElectraHealth, founded in 2008 by Shaun Kranish and owned since 2025 by Brian Hoyer, founder of Shielded Healing and The Shielding Shop.
